If you have not already been to the traveling exhibit, Da Vinci - The Genius at the Science Museum Oklahoma; you have got to go before it leaves on January 9, 2017. Visitors have to pay the admission into the museum and the Da Vinci exhibit separately; $9.95 for adults and $5.95 for children 12 and younger for Da Vinci, but it is well worth it as I always enjoy the new and old elements at the former Omniplex as it forever will remain in my mind and memories.
The exhibit is interactive and includes several scale models of Da Vinci's inventions which are beyond astounding and brilliant. I myself spent almost two hours completely fascinated by the writings, inventions, drawings, and pure genius of one man. There is so much on display that I cannot even narrow down my favorite part as I took away something from everything. I will say that the breakdown of "Mona Lisa" was interesting as I had no idea that Da Vinci never stopped working on the painting from the time he started until his death and they actually have all the versions on display so you can see the evolution over time.
Please, please, go visit the exhibit before it is too late and interact with a pure genius by pushing, pulling, cranking, and opening your mind to scientific principles. Trust me, you do not have to like or even love science to appreciate this exhibit.
